Actually, the issue here is that our new dspace.org security is
"extra tight" (because we have been hacked in the past, as mentioned
by helix84). The brand new dspace.org (just launched) runs Drupal with the http:Bl (HTTP Blacklist plugin). This plugin checks if your local IP address has had any suspecious activities (based on reports to Project Honeypot). So, if you are accessing DSpace.org from an IP address that has been blacklisted/greylisted by Project Honeypot then you will receive that error from Dspace.org. Essentially, the error means that there was suspicious activity noted from your IP address in the last 90 days, and someone reported it to Project Honeypot. To "whitelist" your IP address you would need to click on the "Project Honeypot" link in the message (which should bring you to a page at Project Honeypot which details information about your local IP address). Just visiting that URL from your local IP address will tell Project Honeypot to whitelist it immediately. Otherwise, Project Honeypot will also automatically whitelist your IP address if there is no suspicious activity for 90 days. I've also forwarded this message on to the DSpace.org system administrator, and we'll see if there's anything more we can do on our end. However, this message is a result of work to strengthen the security on dspace.org because of previous hacking attempts. Let us know if you have any other questions. - Tim -- Tim Donohue Technical Lead for DSpace & DSpaceDirect DuraSpace.org | DSpace.org | DSpaceDirect.org On 10/5/2013 11:10 AM, Miguel Ángel
