I followed the instructions here :

to upgrade our DSpace from 3.1 to 4.0 .
Everything is OK .
and no problems but there is one step I didn't understand how to do it .
*Optimizing Solr indexes*
wget http://www.example.com/solr/<core>/update?optimize=true
Our DSpace is working now , and I feel like there is no problems but I'm
afraid that not doing this step will make problems in the future to us
Please advice .
