Sounds good. If you'll be upgrading via "ant update" and not "ant
fresh_install", don't forget you need to upgrade to DSpace 3 first,
run the Solr optimize command and then upgrade to DSpace 4 as
described in the upgrading instructions. See the upgrading notes on
upgrading over multiple versions. Check the system requirements since
they will be quite different between 1.5 and 4 - especially Java,
Postgres, Maven versions.

IIRC, in DSpace 1.5 there was only one type of statistics available -
generated from log files. So it should be easy to just copy over the
missing part of the log file and then generate the statistics as
usual. Then if you decide to migrate to Solr stats or ES stats, the
normal process applies.
