Dear Hilfe, dear all,

in case you have to change domain from old machine to new machine, is it just
necessary to readjust dspace.cfg?
or you need to run a query in the db? or redeploy with ant?

I'm quite new to dspace, I'm a Linux SA and aim at upgrading our dspace 1.8 on
a test server

I replicated the entire production environment and installed a new dspace 1.8
with success, now I'm attempting to move the production instance with
assetstore and everything...

Thank you

Frenk

Subject: Re: [Dspace-tech] dspace instance copy/mirror

I copied it in a few simple steps.

>From old machine
1) Copied complete DSpace directory
2) Exported database
3) Copied Tomcat Settings

On new machine:
4) Imported Database
5) Pasted DSpace to same directory as old machine

And it is working fine. Is there anything wrong in this process? Does DSpace
provide a standard way to do that?
