DSpace 4.1, XMLUI
Looking at solr's schema.xml, I am wondering why the fields <fulltext> and <fulltext_hl> are stored as well as indexed? Are these fields ever actually requested from solr by the dspace application? If not, it seems that it would be a significant optimization to simply index them and not store them... Otherwise, out of curiosity, I'm wondering where the stored value of these two fields are used by dspace. Thoughts?
