Just started configuring the workflow for our installation, and getting a
strange issue where if I go through the submit process (using a custom
input-forms.xml that we verified worked before setting up workflows).
Specifically, once we click the "Complete submission" button, the page sits
there for a while, ultimately producing a 500 Internal Server Error.
If I restart the xmlui webapp, then log back in, the item does show up
properly as in the workflow and awaiting Accept/Reject (I'm using the
default workflow steps listed in workflow.xml).
To set up the workflow/submit an item, I did the following:
1. modified xmlui.xconf per wiki instructions
2. modified workflow.cfg per wiki instructions
3. ran the xml_workflow.sql query
4. assigned roles to a collection for reviewer, editor, and final editor
5. submitted item to the collection, resulting in 500 error resolved by
restart
also, using an account with the right access credentials, I can take the
task after the restart, but if I approve it, the same 500 error happens,
and if I reject it and click submit, I also get the 500 error, which then
shows the right next step after webapp restart. Same problem happens when
moving through additional steps.
Any ideas what's going on?
Thanks,
Charlene
