You don't need to do anything special, the statistics are stored in 
[dspace]/solr/statistics and will be picked up by the new DSpace version. There 
is an extra step if you've been using Solr statistics since DSpace 1.8 or older 
- before the upgrade while you're still running DSpace 3, run the optimize 
command (there is no harm in doing this regardless). You can find more details
