Otherwise, you can use CINECA’s Item Submission Workflow , but keep in mind
that in such case items will need to pass thought the default workflow of your
repository, while the batch UI import directly installs the items in the
repository.

Dear DSpace Community,
If I have a list of metadata presented in XML form or CSV form on another web
server, are there any methods to be imported via Web interface? (Or which file
should I be looking at for implementing such function?)
Or something like the new CINECA Item Submission Workflow on DSpace 4.1 would
be fine - after hitting a button the metadata will be propagated into the item
submission form for review.
