Hi, You actually should be able to modify the "lift date" (dc.embargo.lift) in order to change the embargo period. The "lifter" script just checks if the "lift date" has passed, and if so, it releases the item from embargo.
The only thing that is not really possible in DSpace 1.7 is adding an embargo to an already "installed" item. As that paragraph states, embargo policies are only assigned during the "installation" process in DSpace 1.7. - Tim On 5/16/2014 4:49 AM, M.
