Dear dSpace experts,

does anyone have experiences in using an HSM as bitstream store for dSpace? I
think of mounting the HSM as a remote filesystem on the server and simply
configure it as an asset store directory. To me there are currently no obvious
problems, but maybe in dSpace there is something like timeouts when read
operations take longer on a busy HSM, or anything else? I did not find any
information on this topic yet.

Cheers,
Christian
