I'm glad you've solved it.
SolrBrowseDao is standard en Dspace 4.x.
Note that you'll also have to add the discover event dispatcher to the
dspace.cfg property "event.dispatcher.default.consumers" to keep indexing.

SolrBrowseDao fixes the issue, and seems faster to boot.
