Dear all 1. After upgrading dspace from 3.2 to 4.2 it is observed that java throws error of 'java heap error' though CATALINA_OPTS is set to export CATALINA_OPTS="-Xmx2048m -Xms512m -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -XX:MaxPermSize=128m"
in /etc/profile as well as in /etc/bash.bashrc earlier it was set with JAVA_OPTS but after changing it to CATALINA_OPTS the error messages reduced. Is the above line configuration correct for 4 GB RAM or anything else needs to be done to get rid of 'java heap error' messages. 2. Discovery also throws error of 'java null exception' if any anonymous user tries to browse/search/sort any records. How to sort out this issue. 3. If one wants to disable discovery and use old search/browse feature how to disable discovery and enable old search/browse for JSPUI. reg Sunita Barve ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Want excitement?
