I upgraded our DSpace 4.2 XMLUI to DSpace 5.1 (using Mirage 2).  The install went fine, but once the system came up, if I try to view any records, I get:

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

This is a permissions problem. Tomcat needs to have write permissions on your [dspace]/solr directory and all its subdirectories. Change the permissions and restart tomcat -- hopefully that will solve the issue.
