We have two different versions of DSpace running (1.6 -yeah it's old) and 4.0 When logging on via LDAP authentication, the authoregister captures the email correctly on the 1.6 version of dspace (jasm...@ysu.edu) and on the 4.0 version it is captureing it as "jasmith".
Both have the exact same stanzas in the config files for the LDAP server calls and all other considerations. Anyone have a clue as to what may or may be wrong?
