Hi,

I've been hit several times by the same problem : the database server used by
dspam was restarted, and dspam lost its connections. It then considered that
since it didn't have a valid connection to the database anymore, it should
forward the mails without filtering...
Is there anyway to make it behave differently when it occurs ? I don't really
mind what it does, as long as it doesn't forward mails without filtering .

dspam could die for instance. That would be easy to monitor and restard dspam
automatically...
For now, when dspam is dead, from a supervision tool's point of view, it's
still working. The only way to know that dspam's not working correctly is to
monitor it's log...
