I have preferences in mysql but the preferences table is empty, so I would guess that user preferences is not the issue.

I do run dspam differently. I actually don't use it to deliver messages, I run it with --stdout and determine the result by examining the DSPAM headers.

Is it possible that running with --stdout the signature is getting appended to the message even if configured to put in headers?

Jonathan,

I thought that maybe 3.8.0 would have fixed this problem, but unfortunately the problem still persists.

I have dspam configured with

Preference "signatureLocation=headers"

Me too, and it works just fine, at least in 3.6.8.
I think you might have a misconfiguration elsewhere.
Maybe in the user preferences overriding the global config.
/L

yet dspam consistently outputs the signature on the message itself.

I've mentioned this in previous messages (to both lists).

This is quite annoying as I have to always edit any email reply to remove the signature from the body of the message reply.

Do you know when this bug can be fixed?

Thanks for all your hard work and this great product.

  Greetings,

v3.8.0 is now "official" and listed on the downloads page; it is identical to the copy I had released previously.
