We're starting the release process this week. 
Expect a 3.9.0alpha before weekend.

How fast we'll move after that depends on the amount of testing you all
will do and bugs discovered.


I can't comment on inclusion in the ports / packages of any particular
OS / distribution for now. I'll update the FreeBSD -devel port when we
roll the tarball.

Interested maintainers are nicely requested to drop a mail on our
[email protected] list with the name of their
OS/distribution and any observation they have WRT dspam's conformance
with their hier(7) and packaging norms, patches in their repository not
imported by us, etc.

In the future, we plan to offer early access to the releases for the
maintainers in order to help them in their work (and save their
mailboxes from a flood of "when will you update dspam" mails).
