Hello all. There was some talk a while ago about how preferences should be aggregated. Currently dspam does not take into consideration group preferences.
The most logical way of prioritizing preferences is thought to be dspam.conf preferences < global preferences (uid 0) < group preferences < user preferences. I am personally only using 'SHARED,MANAGED' groups in dspam. My question is: Does it make sense to use group preferences for all kinds of groups? For instance setting trainingMode, SignatureLocation, or SpamAction for all members of the group? I think it only makes sense in the case of managed groups, because in this case, you'll have someone who will be managing the whole group. But I'd like to hear the opinion of other people that use other group types, like INOCULATION, SHARED, CLASSIFICATION or MERGED. So your opinions are wanted.
