It's skipped. I checked the code. Basically what it does is that DSPAM checks 
for the size and if the size is bigger or equal MaxMessageSize then it opt's 
out the user from DSPAM. This includes ClamAV scanning.

File a feature request in our tracker and we could add something working around 
that issue for a release past 3.9.0.
