That was not an attack against you. In no way. I just tried to make you aware of that now that we have the power to change anything in DSPAM, we should use that power careful. I absolutely understand your point and it is a valid point. But that valid point (for you) can't just be used as a fixed rule to be valid for everyone (the DSPAM community). I as well did not wanted to push that responsability away from me and taking you as my working horse to do the ICU (or anything else) integration into DSPAM. I am not your master. If you WANT to do the integration then go ahead. But you DON'T NEED. Who knows? Maybe ICU is an overkill? Maybe another solution would be more easy? I don't know. I just used the devel channel to ask for help or to start a constructive discussion about the topic. If the majority here thinks that we SHOULD NOT do any special threatment for Asian languages then this is okay with me. I am then not going to focus on it. I will however not let that issue stay there. It's bothering me to know that we fail. I will follow that topic, when ever I have some spare time and start doing some small tests and code snipplets and try if I can come up with something easy. Maybe I will give up after some time? Maybe some one else from the community using an Asian language will take the task and submit a patch that includes proper character handling? I don't know. It's all open. It's a community project. Every one does what he can. We drive the project ahead.
