Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: doc Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Henri Hennebert (aigle4) Assigned to: Stevan Bajic (sbajic) Summary: sendmail+cyrus+VirtualUsers Initial Comment: The MAILER(local) of sendmail has a flag (F=w) that check the user in the local user database that don't play well with cyrus saslauthd users (virtual users for dspam). For sendmail, the doc should say: dnl --- DSPAM delivery --- MAILER(local) have F=w which don't play well with virtual users. define(`_DEF_LOCAL_MAILER_FLAGS', `lsDFMA5:/|@q') define(`LOCAL_MAILER_PATH', `/usr/local/bin/dspam')dnl define(`LOCAL_MAILER_ARGS', `dspam "--deliver=innocent,spam" --user $u -d %u')dnl ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Stevan Bajic (sbajic) Date: 2010-06-12 15:19 Message: Thanks for the patch. I will add that to GIT. btw: Now I understand what you wanted to say. But the issue is not something related to DSPAM. Every admin using sendmail and virtual users will run into that issue. Regardless if DSPAM is used or not. But anyway... adding this paragraph to sendmail.txt will not hurt. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Henri Hennebert (aigle4) Date: 2010-06-12 14:36 Message: Here is a tentative patch fordspam-3.9.0/doc/sendmail.txt ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Stevan Bajic (sbajic) Date: 2010-05-13 21:07 Message: Would it be possible to send a patch that changes the documentation? I don't know where to add that part you mention into the sendmail.txt documentation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=1126467&aid=2938169&group_id=250683 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ThinkGeek and WIRED's GeekDad team up for the Ultimate GeekDad Father's Day Giveaway.
