Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: webui Group: None >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Carlo Rodrigues (csmr) >Assigned to: Stevan Bajic (sbajic) Summary: transformation of special chars / proper view of encodings Initial Comment: The correct display of "foreign" subject/ sender on the history page was wonderful. But the quarantine is still sometimes unreadable when sender and/or subject are encoded. Please see attached png. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Stevan Bajic (sbajic) Date: 2011-06-27 22:43 Message: Fixed in GIT ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Carlo Rodrigues (csmr) Date: 2009-12-21 13:19 Message: Yes, it would be very helpful to be able to view correctly these subjects / senders on the quarantine. When both the sender, subject, and body of the message are encoded, the only way I have to check if the email is spam or not is to copy/paste the whole message to a file, and then open it with Thunderbird. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Stevan Bajic (sbajic) Date: 2009-12-21 13:11 Message: Aha. I see. Yes. Just the history page has some characters translated/transformed. The quarantine is not affected by that. I originally had that code in a fork of the Web UI and just back ported it to 3.9.0. The code is a quick and dirty solution. Am I understanding you right that you want the same functionality to be available in DSPAM stock? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Carlo Rodrigues (csmr) Date: 2009-12-21 13:01 Message: Sorry, I thought the file was uploaded the first time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Stevan Bajic (sbajic) Date: 2009-12-21 12:58 Message: Hallo Carlo, I don't see any attachment. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2d-c2 _______________________________________________ Dspam-devel mailing list Dspam-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dspam-devel
