The problem with keyword filtering is that your spam is my ham. Some 
people obviously do buy Viagra on-line.Otherwise it is very difficult to 
explain how there are so many selling it on-line. Other people do want 
to get the porn ads and the casino ads, etc et al.
There are very few keywords used in spam that are not used legitimately 
in other email. So, IMHO using keyword filtering is bad.
