It would be nice if running dspam --daemon could do a setuid()/setgid() to a username specified in the config file instead of just running as root (if started from an rc.d script).
Is this the kind of thing that seems useful to anyone else? I'd be happy to do it and supply a patch if this is something that would make it into the baseline.
