Never had I any issues. So I wonder if it could be the combo of the SQL purge script + dspam_clean that saves me from having that issue? Could you try to run once the purge script and after that dspam_clean and see if you still have that issue? Another thing you could try is to repair the DSPAM tables (just in case there should be anything not correct with them) and then again try with dspam_clean. What MySQL storage engine are you using?
