Thanks for the quick replies, guys.

OK - so if I install the RPM, what order do I want to do things?

- Upgrade database
-
Install RPM

Do I set the configuration options during the RPM
install, via a config file or what?

Where is the RPM? I didn't see it from the sourceforge page...

Currently, I have:
--prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --with-logdir=/var/dspam --enable-debug
--with-storage-driver=mysql_drv --with-mysql-includes=/usr/include/mysql
--with-mysql-libraries=/usr/lib --enable-virtual-users
--enable-preferences-extension --enable-signature-headers

And I guess one final question... if my settings are overwritten, I assume I
can just restore them from my backup?

Thanks,
John

Hmm... you where faster :)

Right. The RPM provided by Nathanael is IMHO the better approach then
installing from source on a Red Hat/CentOS/Fedora system.
