If you intend to sandwich DSPAM into a Postfix MTA then I would suggest you to have a look at the suggestion from Ralf and Patrick: http://postfix.state-of-mind.de/patrick.koetter/mailrelay/ If you like to pull from Linux the users from AD then have a look at script from Chris Covington: http://www-personal.umich.edu/~malth/gaptuning/postfix/ If you have often those directory attacks then I would advise to use smtpd_delay_reject and set it to no and use something like fail2ban and block a bunch of minutes those IPs that do bad things on your MTA.
