Please try with root:mail and setgid and try as normal user to execute 
"dspam_stats [your DSPAM user name]" and look if you get a output. If you do 
then let me know. Try as well to just run plain dspam_stats and see if you get 
proper error messages saying that you are not allowed to query the stats of 
other users. etc...

I have not much touched the other tools so far. If you however can check out 
dspam_stats and tell me that you can query information for your own user 
(assuming you have NO VIRTUAL users) then I am going to do the same changes 
done to dspam_stats to the other tools and enable them to work under normal 
privileges. But I need feedback before going to make the changes.
