Hi, thanks for your quick reply.. > > Have you had a look to the DSPAM wiki? I run a similar setup (with MySQL) > which I have described at: > https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/dspam/index.php?title=Integrate_DSPAM_into_the_Debian-based_ISPmail_setup >
I ended up setting up DSPAM the way you described at the above link, and it seems to make more sense even though local mail isn't caught by DSPAM. But that is something I can live with, for now. Anyway, after following your setup, my dspam-retrain still fails. The MAILDER-DAEMON spits out: <s...@mydomain.com>: Command died with status 22: "/usr/bin/dspamc" How do I know what usually happpens with status 22? I tried to reproduce the error by doing this in the command line: $ sudo dspamc --client --mode=teft --class=spam --source=error --user "usern...@mydomain.com" --signature="1,4c754a0023651681617146" But I got no output. Did i try to reproduce the error correctly? How do I track for this error? ... > AFAIK not directly related to your question, but you might want to run a > more recent release to > avoid being hit by bugs which are already fixed. > > I build packages for Debian Lenny which are meant to be uploaded to Debian > as soon as possible. > You might want to take the source package and build them for Ubuntu: > http://packages.kirya.net/debian/pool/main/d/dspam/ > Yes, I was aware of that. I will try to upgrade it as soon as possible. The deb files for lenny should be compatible with ubuntu 8.04, shouldn't it? ... > > As I don't use postgresql, I am not able to answer to this, but there's an > ongoing discussion on the following bug: > https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3023888&group_id=250683&atid=1126467 > Thanks for this.
