To make things more clear: this is an annoyance for me too, but this is
the way things are for now. I created a patch [1] a while ago that adds
more logging, and some logging related features, but it's not really
production-quality. Please enhance and return your work, if you want to.
Maybe we can include it in a next release.

Note that the patch only adds logging for succesful processing. Error
messages are not updated to be more informative. It works for me on
dspam 3.10.1 and git master.
