or is there somehow some way to share dpsam with other servers?

What do you mean with 'sharing'? Sharing tokens? Sharing everything?
Wasn't sure if a shared group was different than a global group. If it was, didn't know what might be different. I've no specific need for sharing tokens or whatever among servers.

Usually you specify the group name, group type and the members. A global group (regardless of the type) is one where you don't have to specify the members of the group because the group is GLOBALLY active for all users.
I've never specified any specific users. I just put that line in /var/spool/dspam/group : dspam:shared:* . If there is a better way to be doing it, I'm all ears :-)

No, no. This is fine. What you have there is a GLOBAL (the * is doing this. 3th parameter.), SHARED (the name 'shared' is doing this. 2nd parameter) group in DSPAM with the name 'dspam' (the 'dspam' at the beginning is doing this. 1st parameter).
I was wondering if the magic was in the *. Thanks for clarifying. Appreciate your help on everything.

Thanks,

Tim
