The lifetime is depended on how much you clean old entries. If you call 
dspam_clean or the purge SQL scripts then you can specify how old the 
age of the signatures should be (in the SQL script the time is hardcoded 
to something like 30 days or so... I don't remember but you can easily 
see that in the first lines of the SQL file).
