Hello all
I'm creating a setup with Postfix mail receiver, Dovecot backend with DSPAM
between them. All communication is done via LMTP. The idea was that only
Dovecot would have access to the LDAP database to get user and password
information.
However, the problem is, I'm using the dovecot dspam plugin to let users
retrain mail. So when a mail comes in, it goes to DSPAM via LMTP with the
full domain, but when the mail is retrained this domain info is gone since
the users are all virtual.
So it seems I have to use the external lookup in DSPAM as well to resolve
the fully qualified user to the actual account.
I set up a seperate ldap user for DSPAM to log in with, verified it works
with ldapsearch and then tried setting up my configuration to use it. It
ends up failing saying it can't find the server. Slapd is saying the TSL
negotiations failed.
I'm on the latest stable debian and using dspam from the backports repo.
I assume the problem is that the LDAP library isn't finding where the certs
are. Is there any way for me to tell it?
Thanks
Jason
