Hi dspam-users, I have a small issue with my opt-in virtual user setup on Ubuntu 12.04, that I though you may be able to help with. I googled a lot, checked the archives, nothing so far.
As it is an opt-in setup, the users have no uid in the database at the beginning. However they can't opt in, because the webfrontend fails when they try -- dspam_admin retunrs with an error-code of -5. The problem is that there is no record in dspam_virtual_uids with their name. If I manually insert the record it starts to work, their prefs get saved. I think my question is: shouldn't the uid automatically be created for a preference update even? I had the same setup on Ubuntu 06.06, and when I ran "dspam_admin ch pref global optIn on" e.g. the globar user was created if it didn't exist. Which makes sense, creating each virtual user manually would be tedious. Am I missing something? Is this a setup issue?
