Please note that I am not an expert. Just sharing my experience. For my config, I have set it to TOE and has given great results. Noticed that you are also using postgresql. I am using version 9.2. The dspam is on CentOS 64bit and using the epel rpm package. If you are using the same, there might be a problem with the postgresql library linking. Have not had the time to recompile the postgresql module for dspam. Something to look at.
