Hi John,

Yes. The entire process of trying to correctly insert the signature
into a MIME message is a bad idea. Changing the message content itself
is a bad idea. Please only insert the signature header. When we started
with DSPAM years ago, most Email was text and not HTML. That is not the
case today. We are unfortunately still dealing with the fallout from 
our original default configuration.
