[dspam-users] Line feed disappear Kuon (Sun Jun 03 2007 - 10:37:27 CEST)

This is a real bug and it's not a broken configuration or broken mailer.
Everything works great with 3.6.8. Then I swap 3.8.0 in with the same
build options and configuration and dspam.cgi stops being able to
display new messages from the quarantine mbox because of the ^M CRs at
the end of the headers in each new message that was written by dspam 3.8.0.
If you manually strip the errant ^M CRs, dspam.cgi can then view the
quarantined message(s) fine.
"Broken lineStripping" has no effect.
My configuration is the same as the previous poster's, Postfix 2.4.3
using standard postfix content filtering... communicating with dspam
--daemon using LMTP via unix socket.
The code to write the mbox entries out didn't change between 3.6.8 and
3.8.0. It looks like some changes in daemon.c may be responsible for
this errant behavior. But, I am not a C coder so I may be talking out
the wrong orifice.
Thanks,
-T
