I am too having problems with groups, and I think similar to your question.
Setup: P4 2.8, 2Gb Ram, FreeBSD6.2, Postfix 2.4.3, MySQL 5.0.45
currently processing about 3000 mail per day, but all with separate
dictionary's
Dspam 3.8.0 from ports, but with hacks to make various scripts trigger.
/var/db/dspam/group
class-company1:classification:*company1.tld
class-company2:classification:*company2.tld
With this group file, mail passes through the box, without touching
dspam. Its easy to tell as mail being delivery no longer has the !DSPAM
footer and no extra headers.
/var/log/dspam/dspam.debug
26340: [10/18/2007 21:08:08] adding user *company1.tld to classification
group class-company1
26340: [10/18/2007 21:08:08] adding user *company2.tld to classification
group class-company2
I've read this list several times, and the documentation over and
over..... I think I'm missing something obvious - can anyone give a clue?

Hello,
Firt time poster here, so please be gentle ;)
We are currently evaluating Dspam as a spam fighting solution at my
company, and so far we are quite happy with it. We did, however, run
into a slight problem regarding groups. It seems shared, managed groups
are what we want, and now to the question - I try to specify the groups
like this:
abc:shared,managed:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
def:shared,managed:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Is that the correct way to do it? It seems there can be only one
wildcard in the groups file since everything ends up in one group, no
matter what is defined after the at sign. If there is another (better)
way to do it I'd be grateful if someone could tell me how.
While digging through the list archives I found a couple of patches to
achieve what I try to do, and both work just great as long as we don't
try to retrain messages. If we do we just get error messages like this:
Segmentation fault
Expires: now
Pragma: no-cache
Cache-control: no-cache
Location: dspam.cgi?user=abc&template=history&history_page=1
The patches I tried can be found here:

We are using Dspam 3.8.0 (dspam-devel from FreeBSD ports tree) with
PostgreSQL. Dspam is compiled with support for domain scale and virtual
users.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.
