I've recently setup dspam for my mail. I've noticed that sometimes I
get a mail come through that has a Type shown in the web interface as
'Resend'.

I assume this means that dspam believe that it has seen this message
before. Can someone tell me what makes dspam come to this conclusion?
It is entirely possible I do have emails that come to me twice, due
to a very complicated legacy email configuration where address A could
expand to M and B, where B expands to M also, and B and M are on
different servers/domains- hence, I'll get it twice. The example is
simplified, and is unavoidable.

What effect does dspam marking something as 'Resend' have? It appears
that they have more likelihood of ending up in my inbox.

Doing a grep on my mailbox for the X-DSPAM-Signature for a mail that
dspam is marking as Resend doesn't show any other mails matching that
signature, although it is possible I have deleted spam (however, I
don't believe this to be the case)

Additionally, I searched my 'History' on the web interface for the
subject line of one of the mails it marked as 'resend' - and only one
is listed. So, I assume whatever dspam is using to identify a message
as being a Resend isn't based on headers?

I hope someone can clear this up for me!

Seasons greetings,

Ian
