Like me, you have one of the early models. You will have to send it back to 
Icom for the firmware upgrade, to get you the additional memories. I think it 
cost $30. There is information on the Icom forum about it.

Long time viewer, first time poster.

I just picked up a used ID-800 ( never powered up). I've search the 
postings for information on the memory of the ID800 and found a 
posting stating that the ID800 has 100 ur memory locations. As I'm pre-
programming the id file before I get the radio installed and the 
software is only allowing for 6 call signs to be entered in each ur, 
rpt1 & rpt2. What am I missing?
