Ed, Thanks for the info on DStar FD. Sounds like a good test for EmComm and this is what FD is about. This has always been my primary function in taking part in FDs. I wish ARRL would be little more supportive of the new modes for they do have value in a disaster. I guess it takes those who do new things like DStar to show others.
