Hello Mike
I have similar experience on Centos updates. I started out with
2.6.18-53.el5, next one was 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5 which was stable but
can't tell what were the differences. Tha last one though which is
2.6.18-53.1.6.el5 made the system to boot for almost 15 minutes. Most
of the delay was taken to bring up email transport clients.
Fortunately it did load at the end.

Since we all have to run Centos for the G2, I am afraid it is too
risky with all those updates. I am sure that those guys know what
they do but these often upgrades may not be good for the G2. Does any
one knows more than we do from the G2 development side?
