If we are using and building a repeater system that does not perform better than analog for mobiles we are moving in the wrong direction. The purpose and found use of repeaters is aid weak signal stations such as mobiles.
Digital definitly has use in point-to-point with less bandwidth and better reproducablility of information. This why the phone companies long distant calls sound same as accross the street. 73, ron, n9ee/r >From: Tony Langdon <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Date: 2008/06/30 Mon PM 06:37:04 EDT >To: [email protected] >Subject: Re: {Disarmed} Re: RE: Re: [dstar_digital] Re: D-STAR Field Day >Update > > > >True, analog copes with some conditions better than D-STAR.
