Scott, My IC91AD has many frequencies programed in the memories. I think this is part of the CPU initial setup and used for testing at the manufacture. It might have been setup by external programming such as with a PC.
It has as some as follows: mem 010 top band 6.055 011 6.080 012 6.090 020 7.160 030 9.475 040 9.705 041 162.400 and many more. I give these above so you can check to see if you have same thing. If so it would indicate a manufacturing procedure for some testing to verify the rig functions as it should. 73, ron, n9ee/r >From: n9aa <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Date: 2008/07/18 Fri PM 10:46:56 EDT >To: [email protected] >Subject: [dstar_digital] Factory programmed memories in IC-91AD? > >This might be a little off topic, but I though that there might be a >few IC-91AD owners here that could answer this. > >I just got my NIB IC-91AD.
