I have a 91ad with both a store bought and homemade cable. Try as I may, Chirp would not work.....I was in band B for digital and such. Then today Dan said be sure you have GPS turned OFF. I did and it worked like a charm.
CHIRP will not run on my win98SE machine - win2000 or newer but it does work. I don't run LINUX but that is another claim to fame for CHIRP. I will try it on a borrowed 92 in a bit. BIG TU DAN es 73, Steve NU5D
