It's worse than being "out there" Nate. As a longtime echolink sysop I
can tell you that the majority of folks connecting to our system have
no idea how bad their audio is or how to fix it.  Add to that the
various beeps and boops of the remote repeater and you'd have a real
"dog's breakfast".  No thanks.  Echolink sysops: resist the urge to merge!
