When they link to you, are they callsign routing to your repeater one
transmission at a time, or are they using dplus to link the repeaters in
a "hard link"?

(Do you hear an announcement "Remote System Linked!" in Robin AA4RC's
voice?)

In callsign routing, you'll have to hit the "one touch" button on your
rig, or otherwise find a way to put the right route into your radio to
talk back to them.

In dplus linking, it should "just work".

In BOTH cases, all users MUST have your local repeater's callsign+G
(Gateway) in their RPT2 field of their radios, or the Gateway can't
"hear" anything from your local repeater module... and thus, it won't be
able to send your audio and data back to the person calling.

You may want to look over the D-STAR Calculator and try some examples to
see how it all works by putting in some real repeaters and watching the
little graphic on the bottom of the screen for what the rigs need to be
set to for both sides to talk to each other.
