Greetings all- I can't seem to get my Garmin Foretrex 201 to work with my IC-91 and I wonder if anyone has had a similar experience. I have had success with my old Garmin eMap and the '91- the position comes up on the '91 just fine. The Foretrex does output NMEA 4800 that is completely readable by my TH-D7a(g). The following have been investigated and I'm sure it is not:
-Radio settings (like I said, I can get another gps to work with the '91) -Cable: I'm sure the cabling is OK, as it is wired the exact same way as the cable of the other gps that does work -GPS settings: it does output NMEA @ 4800 that works fine with the D7 Any ideas? I sure like using the Foretrex with my D7 and it would be nice to use with the '91 on D-STAR as well. Thanks for any advice- 73 de Bud W0RMT
