Ferrell, My posting (I can't speak for anyone else) was not directed at you in the slightest. Apologies if you took it that way. My words were carefully chosen to talk about "people" in general, since the discussion had turned to talking about those people we've all met who haven't gotten interested in D-STAR yet, because they find it too difficult to use. (Those same people OFTEN like the features of D-STAR, they just aren't motivated enough to learn how to operate it.) No intention AT ALL of being "sly" towards you. Please re-read the posting with the attitude that I was lamenting the general public's inability to even know how their garage door opener works... for example. I was also discussing how different people have different learning styles. Different learning styles are neither bad nor good, they just "are". Great instructors know this, and modify their presentation of material to the individual learning something. NOTHING in my post was directed at you, I promise. :-) Nate
