I have used my 2820H as an analog cross band to repeat or extend a digital signal, I would not call it reliable but it will do it what I found that works with it is to key the cross band then start the digital Trans (use a analog ht to key it then key the digital) it passed the sig threw just fine and had diversity turned on.
